Quiet office

I know fans and 15,000RPM HDDs are highly regarded by overclockers and performance phr33ks, but when I'm just surfing the net or typing a report, it will be nice to have an office with very low background noise. My room is quiet except for my computer and when my computer is off there is the hum from the fluorescent driver. Anyone else desire a ultra quiet office?

Jerboy, just get one or two of those fanless iMacs.. (of course, then you have the whole "what software is compatible with OSX" issue, but that's another story)
