My Logitech Elite is nearing 4 years old. Almost every key is ridiculously shiny (except Z, X, and Q), and it's much noisier than it once was.

I demand a rotary volume knob, a mute button, and relatively quiet keys. I didn't see much I liked on Newegg. Recommendations?

gneGne, are you speaking of the Logitech S-510? I have this keyboard and it's known more as a laptop keyboard, although I use it for my desktop.

nice board, but the knob on it only controls the brightness of the backlight, it has volume control buttons, but he asked for a volume knob. :(

Good luck finding that on a new board, I've been keyboard searching lately and have seen nothing with a knob. The newest Logitech diNovo has a volume disc, it's flush with the keyboard, it's similar to the knob disc on the Elite (I had one) except it's touch sensitive so there's no physical knob to move. If price doesn't matter, it's a SWEET KEYBOARD!

Yeah, I was gonna say, I have the G15 and it isn't really that quiet. My other cheap logitech internet keyboard was more quiet than the G15.
