i have a xp2500 overclocked with my fbs set to 204 and it is running stable. but i think i should be getting better temps. As of now im at 46 idle and 56-57 under load. i currently have a coolermaster aero 7+ im thinking of just changing the fan only. Any suggestions on what a good fan replacement would be ? should i look for a 80mm or a 92 mm and i want something rather quiet and and runs at high rpms and must have a speed control.. thnx for any suggestions.

your better off getting an slk cooler.

my 1800@2.4ghz 1.85v runs 45c load. with slk 800 with zalman fan at 1600rpm. its on speed control obviously. i can turn it up a little but it makes no real difference and a lot more noise. slks have that narrow base that just lets low flow through efficiently, very nice.

I have to agree with oroo, the slk series is completely unbeatable. I have the 800 with just a standard case fan on it and my max load is 45C and it idles about 38C. I had a smart case fan 2 on it and at the best it would keep it 2-3 degrees cooler and was quite a bit louder.
