quiet case

i want to know if there is a case that i can go to sleep without hearing nothing like fan humming sound , etc. If there is a case, the case must be a mid tower only.
 
This is pretty tricky, since everyone has a different threshold of hearing

Maybe if you give an example of how much sound you can tolerate while you're sleeping...
 
Things you need to get a computer that is about as quiet as a Dell:

- Get an Antec SLK-3000, put in Yate Loon/Nexus 120mm fans with Zalman Fanmate fan controllers, and run the fans at the lowest setting

- Put in a Seasonic Super Tornado or S12 PSU in that Antec case.

- Put a Zalman CNPS7000 or 7700 on your CPU (whichever one that fits), also run it at the lowest setting.

- Put a Zalman VF700 or Arctic Silencer on your vid card.

- Put the NB fan on a Zalman fanmate.

Voila. Quiet computer.

i am running xp-90 with vantec fan, 2 x 80 fan on the side and a fan controller but i never used it ( the one by coolermaster). i am run also ocz 600 powerstream, 1 x 200 ide hard drive, 1 dvdr , 2 x sata hd ( raid 0). when i sleep it is too loud.
 
I have a new project "Night Wind" based on the Antec Sonata. I've got 2 Barracuda drives, 6800GT with NV5 Silencer, Zalman 7000CU, Antec NeoPower PSU and a 120mm coolermaster rear fan. I made major modifications to the front intake and have all the fans hooked up to my Aerogate II. With the fans on low, I can barely hear it at night and still runs cool
 
First, hook up the fan controller and see if it helps. It may make the difference. To further reduce the voltage and noise of the fans, you can run two fans off of one "channel" on the fan controller (as long as the fan controller supports the total wattage for that channel) but that could mean you'd need to turn up that channel to get the fans started. Once they're started, you can usually turn it all the way back down.

I have done this for one of my rigs. I also went to Radio Shark and grabbed a SPST Toggle Switch. I wired my noisiest fan to it and fabricated a plate to mount the toggle on the back of my case. So I now have voltage control and on/off capability-it's easy too. Just wire the toggle in to the positive lead to the fan and you can turn it on and off.
