QUIET alternative to MS Natural Pro KB?

I love my MS Pro KB - I think its the best KB ever.

HOWEVER - my PC is in the living room now and our baby naps there a lot - I also need to type a lot and this keyboard is just freaking LOUD when you type.

Does anyone know of a good "corrective" (heh) KB that is pretty quett? One with a USB hub would be ideal, but I would be happy with just silence.

Unfortunately, the only natural KB, from MS, that is quiet is the "original" one -- they don't make or sell them anymore. You can find them used, but its up to you if you want to deal with taking it apart, etc. I did find that the retail MS Natural Keyboard Pro a bit loud for my tastes, but there are some OEMs that have slightly quieter versions (I have 2x Dell OEM versions), but still not as quiet as others. I'd suggest trying one of the non "natural" keyboards from MS, or try a Logitech keyboard for quite typing.

Uh, thanks - but I need quiet, not indestructable :)

The MS Natural Pro is the most noisy KB ever - the keys just make this clackety plastic rattle sound - but the feel is great...

I use the Natural Pro while my wife uses the Natural Lite. Her keyboard is much quieter than mine although not silent. The Natural Lite kb has muddier sound when typing (not the normal clicking noise that Natural Pro makes). Give it a try at a local B&M.
