Quiet 6600GT?

I have the evga 6600gt, only thing I don't like about it is it's a little loud (by my standards anyways).
Most agp 8x cards are backward compatible with agp 4x aren't they?

Yes, but with these new ones that use a bidge chip you never know...

Um...yeah... that's the one with the active cooler and the slower memory, the GV-N66T128D. The GV-N66T128VP is still 210 shipped on Zoomfly. At least the price dropped to something reasonable.....

Well mine turned out to be a DOA, rather than a compatibility issue. I tested it in my friend's PC. RMA'd it. Think I'll actually go with something else... 🙂
