Quiet 120mm fans

Heres what I need-
A 120mm Fan that can-
1. Have a fairly high pressure. 1.5-2mm H2O
2. At least 50 CFM
2. Low noise@ 12V <25dB
3. Costs less than 12.00.
4. RED LED or Red UV reactive.

I will be using two to queitly cool my CPU/GPU/GPU/NB.

Thanks for the input.

Not asking much, eh? LED fans aren't known to be the highest quality, but there are a few exceptions. The Cooler Master low speed LED is quieter than the black CMs I have here. But you want over 50 CFM which puts you up into the medium speed category.

Jab-tech.com has the YL SM version but in blue LED only. SVC.com has several red LED fans that may be in the ballpark - no idea what they sound like - check Newegg's fans selection as their LED fans may have purchaser comments on one color or another that could be extrapolated to the red one. I've heard that the Antec Tri-cool are pretty quiet at low and medium speeds and it's available in red, but not for under $10.

There are none. You're going to have a hell of a time finding a fan that makes all your requirements, as it simply doesn't exist - the closest would be the Noctua NF-S12-1200, which has 63 CFM @ 24 dBA but extremely low pressure, and no bling. It also costs $20...

Their new NF-P12 would be a better bet... 1300 RPM, 1.68mm H2O, but too noisy without the included LNA. It would probably even go under 25dBA with 50+ CFM with the LNA, but it, again, doesn't come with LEDs or any of that stuff.

The way I see it, there's well performing fans and good-looking fans - the ones with good noise and airflow and the ones that are UV reactive and have a million LEDs and CCFLs, but don't give half a damn about noise.

To bad it does not have a red LED. Anybody try this fan???

Your right, I was reading some reviews on the Egg and people have been getting wee litt air and not turning at all from this fan.

I might go Yateloon. No Led Red/black?

I've not known AC Ryan to be a packager of particularly high quality components. Check out those Logisys rel LED fans at SVC first.

@realguns - Scythe is now making LED fans available east of the pacific ocean. This one's a white LED:

You might search around Silent PC Review for this kind of product, or cozy up to Zepper there - he's quite a resource here re: cooling and quiet. Anyway, traditionally Scythe is a very strong fan supplier when you're looking for terrific noise/performance ratios. I'm a little stunned to see them going to anything LED, much less clear plastic, but there you have it. I've seen no reviews on this particular fan, and extrapolating/assuming it's performance on name and appearance alone would be foolish. Meaning, it's called the kamikaze, which is sort of like Kama (great fans from scythe) and it's a nine blader like the slipstream, etc...but hard to tell if they abandoned noise/performance for the bling-bling....

Regards,

I decided against the LED fans. They all seem loud or lacking in power.
I did however get two Aerocool Turbine fans.
While they have Blue LEDs they seem to be fairly quiet and hove good pressure for a radiator, my intended use.
