Quicktime Video to VCD: possible?

How can I make a VCD or SVCD out of a quicktime movie? I tried doing the regular Nero SVCD thing and it gives me the unsupported format error. I am trying to burn the revolutions trailer to a SVCD and watch it on my home theater
