quicktime crashed firefox

when i try to view a .mov or even when browsing apple.com when something quictime related comes firefox crashes...


any help?

Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed? Have you tried deleting and recreating your profile?

I just visited apple.com using Firefox 2.0, and I have Q/T 6.3 installed. No problem other than not having iTunes installed. I don't use a browser to watch my .mov files. I do that with Q/T directly.

I fyou go here, you can scroll down and play game trailers in .MOV format or several others. That would be a good test for your Firefox-Q/T setup.

Scroll down and try Blood Moon's trailer in MOV format. Only 14+ MB.

Can't say I'm surprised, it is quicktime you're talking about. Let the spawns of satan deal with that crap (apple pcs).

If you must, download the file and use quicktime alternative codec to view, though if it were up to me I'd just stay the ****** away from apple.com

OK - am running FF 2.0.0.1 and Q/T 7+.

Try this and see.

It works for me. If it crashes your system, you got another problem somewhere.
