I used a jailbroken app pre-os4 called quickscroll. What it did was enable you to select a gesture to use which brought up a different scroll bar in any app that scrolls, and it made scrolling a lot quicker than just flicking down over and over again on long pages. The dev said he won't be updating it, so I need an alternative and haven't heard of any. Anybody use something similar?

I don't think there's any alternative app to general scrolling, but you can always use infinidock/smoothboard to make scrolling through your apps easier on the springboard. I used to use it on my 3GS before I got my iPhone 4. I think it still it works in iOS 4, but I'm not too sure since I'm not jailbroken anymore.

I don't have any issues with that. With folders I only have 2 pages of apps. My only issue is how long it takes to scroll certain pages and quickscroll used to be the solution to that. It sucks when a developer quits his work.

Ive never had an issue with scrolling, I didnt think the speed of scrolling was too slow. Default is fine, the more you flick it, the faster it goes, i can get through 200 e mails in a matter of a couple of seconds.
