Quickest/Easiest was to backup OUTLOOK EXPRESS?

do i only have to back up >windows >application data >identities >user, or is there another folder/directory somewhere else?

Under Tools, Options, then the Maintenance tab, you'll see a button for looking at your current OE store. Back up that directory and everything under it.
