I have to disagree. These are the best mechanical pencils.

I don't like writing with these. They're very comfortable to draft with, and they are probably the smoothest pencil's I've used. But they just don't feel write if I have to write down more than a few words with them.

The Papermate Ultra's are what I'm rocking now. Very nice feel to them, I think. I still prefer the cheap Bic's with the rubber grip to anything else.

Pentel P205 for neat work, P207 for normal use, P209 for construction lines

Pipeline Drafter FTW

In terms of just mechanical pencils, I just used the cheapo Bic ones. They were reliable yet expendable. Whatever.

For drafting, I use a Staedtler lead holder. One of the most beautiful mark-making instruments ever invented!

Staedtler products are always choice.

Those are dece, but they're still just regular mechanical pencils. These are choice.

Yeah, I have a whole mess of those exact same lead holders. Need one for HB, 2H, 4H, 6H, ...

EDIT: Holy shit, they have a sharpener in the cap? I never noticed that and I used them for years.
