isnt XGA = 1024x768 and XGA+ = 1280x960?

SXGA on a 14.1 sucks, way to tiny/crammed.

SXGA on a 15.0 is PERFECT it's equal to 1280x1024 on a 19" LCD that's my personal opinion.

If I were to buy a 14.1" I'd get XGA.

damn, thanks. I have bad vision anyways...so thanks for the heads up. saves me 50 bucks/

Yeah if you have bad vision you would be screwing yourself twice (vision and $50) by getting SXGA.

Stick with 14.1 XGA

This is a matter of opinion. I love my UXGA 15" and would not get anything of lower resolution. I'd get it on a 14 if it were available.
