Quick! What would you pick? AMD XP 1700 or Duron 1.6 .... which is faster?

Just wondering ? If anyone has any data or reviews that seem to back up my intial impression that ... my Duron 1.6 seems noticbly faster than my XP 1700+?

Yeah, it's going to depend on what your using it for, though. The Duron has the higher clockspeed, by 150mhz, so for some things, it might be faster. For most things besides gaming, though, having twice the cache will be faster.

go with the XP

it has a larger L2 cache (256K L2) though it is a slower clockspeed...
