Quick Website Graphics Question

Over here they have all those shaped background graphics with
all the radii and angled transitions. I know how to make complicated lay out tables in like Dreamweaver, -
but tables dont have multiple series of radius in corners. How, and or what program would you guess
he made those in? Did he just make line shape in Illustrator and fill in?

These are just images, each corner is a table cell.

Probably done in photoshop with the trace tool, or possibly fireworks.

He made the design in a graphics program and then chopped it up for using in the web site. It's fairly common technique. You'll see that each graphic is actually a rectangle when you pick apart the page.

in other words, you chop up the image so its a series of square cells that have radiused shapes in them?
