Quick TV question...

If you buy a TV, and the remote or TV doesn't have a TV/Video button, can you buy a universal remote to use that option? Or did it not come with it because it can't be changed... (I'm the one that needed help hooking up my PS2 to a TV with only a cable line)

Did you buy one like that? If so, I'd suppose it's a very low-end set that maybe doesn't have an AUX input mode?

More than likely the TV does not have a TV/Video option. Tune to either channel 3 or 4 as it is using RF modulation.

It's actually my dad's that he bought about a year ago. I'm using it here at college. It has a GE logo and says "Commercial Skip".... Probably low end, but there has to be some way to hook up a PS2.

Use RF modulation.

I have my cable run through a VCR. The RCA's are in the VCR, yet when I turn it on, nothing happens. I tried many different channels and still nothing. The VCR is set on 3.

Use RF modulation.

Well first look on the back and see if the A/V inputs are there.

TV needs to be on 3 or 4...not the VCR

And, if you have the PS2 into the VCR...the VCR should be in like AUX mode...or at least not in Video mode.

Seeing as to how he cannot switch the TV to A/V, I doubt there is any A/V inputs.

RF modulator serves the same purpose as the VCR, and it still doesn't work. So I doubt that will do the trick.

You're not understanding that there is no way to change to Aux =) The only switch there is says "RF Unit CH 3 CH 4" To switch between channels, and that doesn't do anything either.

With RF modulation you do not need to switch to AUX.

Dude...EVERY VCR has the TV/Video option...if not on the unit it's on the remote.
