i have an svideo out port on my radeon 9600 and it came with an svideo cable. i want to play games on my tv, but i dont have an svideo in port on my tv. i went to radio shack to see what my options were, and they said i needed a $30 converter box thing. i said screw it and bet i could find something cheaper online. sure enough, google gave me this:

http://store3.yimg.com/I/trianglecables-site_1770_3244209

that store wants $10 for it, which i didnt think was too bad. i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get an adapter like that for maybe cheaper, and hopefully a known store. i have $15 in paypal, so if they accepted paypal, that'd be a plus, too. thanks.

That looks like an adapter to carry the two S-Video signals over seperate RCA video cables, then presumably back into another of the same adapter.

What you actually need is an ATI S-Video 7-pin plug to RCA composite jack adapter (there is also a cable version.

The adapter is usually included with a card, especially if the S-Video cable is and yet there is no composite jack on the card. ATI sells them for $5 but last I knew they charge $10 S&H per order. I don't know where else to get them except perchance eBay.
