I have been out of the computer loop for a long time but I am due for a new build. I am not looking to do anyting crazy. I am sitting on a epox 8kha+ with an athlon 1800+ and 256 crucial DDR in the can. I am looking to get a new mobo that i can continue using this processor with but use dual channel ram and have options for processor upgrade later in the fall. Planning to pick up a 9800 pro as well for graphics. Any modest options that will support my old processor, allow for future upgrade and have good oc options and also support dual channel? Thanks bunches ahead of time!!!

Are you picking up memory at the same time as well? Sounds like you're a gamer -- a memory upgrade (to 512MB at least) is your best bet at this point, so if it's memory or mobo, get the memory. Now, if you're planning on getting both, great :)

Socket A doesn't have a huge future. Get the RAM now, and start keeping an eye out for A 64 deals down the road.
If that sounds too grandiose, I read somewhere epox 8kha+ is a decent overclocker. Check for newer BIOS revisions from epox.
Don't know how maxed out or limited (locked CPU? CPU Core? stock HSF? RAM speed?) you are.
