Quick simple displaying cgi question

Im trying to display a short simple cgi script in a browser. Ive renamed it to .txt but ie still treats the tags as html.

Is there anything i need to add or take out so it will just display the code?

BTW firefox is smart and displays it as text.

Open the file. Press spacebar on the first line of code. Then press Alt + F4.
