The drive is u320 meaning if you have one drive, the 320 bandwidth is available. If you get a u160, it'll run at the max of 160.

You would need a 68 pin controller, not 50pin and cable is expensive too.. I can give you a free cable with terminator, 5 position (1 controller) and 4 devices. Unless you already have it.. (PM me)

Also get a good brand, driver support are pretty important too.. LSI, adaptec (mentioned above) or Tekram (not bad..)
