this product is great.
I just finished installing it and setting it up, the remote works great with win media player and can also be mapped to any software. vary easy to set up, took about 15 min to install and get working. I like the display options and the graphic EQ that displays when music is playing. the VFD display has a nice brightness and color. build quality is also nice, the knob works smoothly and the buttons on the remote feel pretty solid (like a typical TV remote) the mouse function from the remote even works great. This is exactly what i have been looking for for a long time, now i just need to find a remote like this that will also control my HT stuff. I would guess that a typical learning remote could be used inplace of the included with the software, there is a place to switch what kind of remote you are using.
my only small complaint is the length of time you have to hold down a button for the computer to respond.
