We have 4 disk Raid 5 setup at work. If I remove one of the disks, and then insert it back, the array automatically rebuilds itself, without losing any data. I was wondering if I can buy 2 more drives (making it a 6 drive setup), and if the array will automatically upgrade itself. If not, is there a way to do that, without losing data?
 
The card is Perc 2, so it should support up to 6 drive. However, I'm afraid adding 2 hard drives will require me to rebuild the array from the scratch.
