Quick questions - gaming at 720P

A couple quik questions about HD gaming, looking at 32" LCD's:

Do I need a driver? Vista 64

I've seen some people say they had trouble setting the proper resolution using HDMI input. Any comments?

My GTX 285 came with a little wire that connects to the card and to a SPDIF on my X-Fi I guess. Does this put sound through the card, just need to use the HDMI adapter? Are there drivers or anything else needed?

I have a Westinghouse 720P as my monitor right now. I was indeed unable to use the native resolution (1366x768) over HDMI. However, with VGA it was no problem.

Have a refurb Vizio 1080P on order right now, should get it in about a week. I'm looking forward to increasing my resolution (even if the screen size remains the same).

I think that's a slightly higher end version, the VOJ320F. The really cheap one is the VO32LF. Not sure what the real difference is between them but the latter can be found for $400-$450 from various places.

Just read, same specs as yours, bezel is different. Amazon's price is high. Hmm, checking out the one you bought right now... damn that would be nice for the money..
