I'll (hopefully) be building my new system in the next several weeks, and I always see people mention the 'VIA 4-in-1 drivers'. What are these, and how do I know if I need them? My specs will most likely be as follows:

EpoX 8k7a
T-Bird 1GHz Axia @ ???
256MB PC2100
Video card...?
Gametheatre XP
 
Ditto what Melik said. Your system may boot w/o them, but it would run like Fred Flinstone's computer, if it all. Just install the latest ones, ask questions if need be and you'll be GTG. 🙂 Good luck.
 
Actually, the only one you NEED to install is the AGP driver. Without this 3D apps will run like crap. You can get by using Windows default drivers for everything else. I do, and my system runs better than it does with the VIA IDE drivers.
