Does Best Buy accept checks as a method of payment? Debit card will only let me do $500 a day max. Will they accept checks?

I don't see why not. Since they sell so much expensive stuff, I doubt a lot of people will pay cash.

Ok, thanks. I hardly ever use checks, so they seem shady to me...just wanted to double check before I try and do it. Thanks again.

Checks---the old people's preferred way to pay! :)

BTW- I think you can have the limit on your debit card increased by calling your bank.

Can't you use your debit card as a credit card? I think the $500 max is cash withdrawl, although I don't see why you would do that anyway.

I think they should. Even though almost everyone these days has a credit/debit card, I'm sure some people (like my parents) prefer to make big purchases with checks.
