i just have a quick question:

anyone know why cd rom's/burners show up as scsi drives in win 2k when they are not and an externet ide controller card
have an abit kt7 raid??
i have via 4.27 4 in 1 drivers installed

I'm not sure about your kt7, but on my MSI pro2a, when I used the solteck drivers to enable ata100 support in win2k, they are now recognized as scsi with no ill effects (hardrives,burner) I'm assuming its the same thing.
