Thanks for reading my post.

About a year and a half ago i got prepared to purchase my parts and i ended up only purchasing my motherboard which is a gigabyte P35 DS3L. a few things went wrong i never did complete the PC, zip to current day and i still have this brand new MB.

My question is, Is this MB still valid even with a few of it's abilities being slightly old including PCI express 1.1? Should i just sell this thing on ebay and buy a P45? Or should i just finish my P35 build and wait on the P55?

I'm going to combine this with a Q6600 or a Q9300
4gigs of ram
600+ watt PSU name brand
Geforce 260/275 (I haven't decided yet)

I'm not a hardcore Pc gamer by any imagination but i am casting aside my console and my PC will take over all gaming duties. I just want to be able to play any game at max quality or close enough.

Thanks

You can try selling it on anandtech's "for sale" forum, which gets alot of traffic. But I wouldn't take a big loss on it. The difference between pci-e 1.1 and 2.0 is negligable.
