Should I OC my Whinchester? Ive been thinking about this for a few months. Note: If my chip does, Im out of a computer for a few weeks to months. I have the Gigabyte K8NXP-SLi (i konw not very good for OCing), and a Hyper-48 on the processer.

sure, why not overclock it? what cpu is it? whats the stepping? (writen on the top of the CPU)

if you decide to oc, your cpu crapping out shouldnt be a very major concern. as long as you keep it at stock voltage, it should last just about as long as at stock. there are a few threads on that here, so if you want to know more, try doing a search.

Found out what stepping it is: DH8-D0. Is this a good OCer, or am I SOL?
