i applied new as5 to a backup comp about 2 months ago, but never got around to firing it up and burning in the compound. as i want to do something with it now, is it ok to just fire it up or is it better if i put on fresh compound. my guess is its fine as off the shelf systems sit for months without use, but i just want to make sure itll still work optimally .
