In general yes. There may be some limitations, however.

For example, Dodge's lifetime powertrain warranty reverts to a fixed-length warranty after a transfer of ownership. I believe Mitsubishi's and Kia's long warranties also apply only to the original owner.

Its all pretty well outlined on the manufacturers' websites so read before you buy;)

Dangit, I wanted a 1 year old Outlander... oh well. I'll check out their webpage.

Yeah, I think the 10 year warranty drops to 5 years. My co-worker found that out after he bought his Evo. Luckily they fixed what the previous owner broke under warranty;)
