quick question - will a Scion XB be able to carry a 50" plasma upright in the box?

I bought a 50" plasma last night from BBY but I have a 4 door sedan. I need to bring it home (and the furniture I bought), I need to figure out how to do so.

Will a Scion carry the 50" samsung plasma? I dont know too many people with trucks. My coworkers do have trucks and my office has a truck but I dont want to use that one.

I have a zipcar membership that wll allow me to use a zipcar if it fits with the seat down I will go pick up the local zipcar.

Any idea??? ANybody in the san fernando valley wanna help?
 
the new XB, I figure 09 or 10.. whatever zipcar has.

I checked the manual online, its 32" with teh stand, so 36 should be about right with the box.
 
Have a 50" Samsung here...without the box the height is 30.25" and the length is 49"

We fit it in the backseat of a 2004 Malibu without the box.
 
Well I will like to keep it in the box until I am ready to install it. I have to figure out what to do with teh existing showcase / tv combo.

Does the XB seats go down?
