OK I've got a 32MB creative labs Gefore 2 GTS that I've been running on 6.18's for ages now. What drivers should I install and what sort of performance increases should I expect? I'm using a Duron system.

cheers,

Hey seb, long time no see!
I like the 6.50's, and the 11.01's.
Stay clear from the 12.00 tho, very large performance hit.

You've got a bit of a shouting-stuttering speech disorder there GreenLantern. I used to be a (respected, I hope) regular on this forum and much like yourself hated it when people wouldn't search for stuff.

The simple fact of the matter though is that is I did search for nvidia drivers I'd come up with a billion different threads, and I'd have to read loads of them to find out what I should be using. And it's 3am and I can't be bothered...

So instead I ask a quick question, and got a quick answer. 11.01's it is I guess.

Same name! :)
I e-mailed you a few times when I was buying my computer way back. I remember being impressed with your duron overclock ;)

Yeah I think i remember Phuz. That was in the days of my Duron 650 @ 978. I since managed to get it over a gig (1070 = 107 * 10) so I am a frim believer of burning in chips.

BUT

I got pissed with the din that my PEP66 was making so I got one of those radial fin coolers from Quiet PC which runs absolutley inaudiably. It (unsurprisingly) would no longer boot at 1070. I tried 900 next. That didn't work either. Then I just whacked it on standard voltage and 800 MHz. I'm sure I could get it to go faster, but I'm content for the time being.
