I think the Wifi chip in my wife's Toshiba Satellite has failed.
I have not opened it up yet, but I have tried several diagnostics to get Windows to at least recognize it, and it will not, so I suspect a hardware failure.
Assuming it is - should I attempt to replace it, or would it just be cheaper/easier to buy a wifi card to plug in?
