Quick question regarding Far Cry 3

I am reading on various sites that you need to manually make changes in nVidia inspector to get Far Cry 3 working with an SLI setup. But all the sites are dated December 2012. I was just wondering if these tweaks were still needed or did nVidia fix the issue with updated drivers?
