Quick Question on PCIE slots

lein

How long do PCIE sockets last? (how many times can I take out a card and put it back in before the slot fails). The reason I ask this is because I have swapped graphics cards on my Neo4 motherboard about six times and will probably keep doing so in the near future. I don't want to break it though...

Thanks

The only thing is I dont physically use the other slots as much as I use the PCIE. I want to know at what point would the slot basically wear out or something.

You should be fine for quite a few card swaps. Unless you're really being rough, there's no reason why it shouldn't work the same after 50 swaps as after the first.
