Quick question on BF2 performance

Most of you are running newer gen video cards.

Will I be able to play BF2 in 1280x1024 with medium or so settings(AA and AF off but everything else at least on medium) with the following computer:

Athlon 64 3200+ Clawhammer(@3400+ speeds)
1 gig RAM
Radeon 9800 pro 128 MB
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS

I would hate to get a game and not be able to play it.

you should be able to. i play at 1024 w QuinAA and 8xAF. medium settings with shadows down on low. avg. 45fps, but never really gets choppy or unplayable. i dont experience the other hitches and such others speak of. try the demo before you buy.

I play it just fine on 9800pro, 768ram, 2.2Athlon

I have Barton XP @ 3200+, 1 GB, 9800 Pro and I play 1280x768 with medium-low settings (the lighting needs to be low or it stutters bad, could be due to onboard sound) at 45+ fps. So yes I'd say you could do it 1280x1024 medium settings.
