Quick question on 66mhz SDRAM

Dowfen

I've got an old dell that I wanted to add some memory to. According to Crucial, it takes 66Mhz SDRAM. Would putting in a PC100 or PC133 stick of SDRAM work or do I have to buy the 66mhz stuff.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Eric

There is an AT FAQ on this (I think -- look for yourself 🙂 ), short answer is: yes for older low-density RAM you'd buy used (most all PC100 should be safe, some PC133), no for the newer high-density RAM you'd buy brand-new.
