Quick Question-Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse Users

Just connected my new mouse and it is a big improvement but I just want to know if the LED on the side of the mouse stays on 24/7. It dulls down but never goes off completely even with computer off.

Is this normal? Will it shut off after a length of time?

Also, how long does a set of batteries seem to last you. Just curious.

Thanks

OOOPS,

I was too impatient.

Thanks again, Guys. I can stop expecting the worse and relax. 🙂😉

(I have a long history of always being the guy that gets the one bad one if it exists so I am a little paranoid about new equipment until it proves itself)

Dunno about the LED thing, I can't remember the last time I shut down my comp 😛

Batteries usually last about 1 - 2 months.

Yeah the LED stays on all the time, tho after a while it will flicker quickly, which uses less power than bein on, but may take a couple of secs to "wake up" from sleeping!

I use my mouse about 4hrs a day, and i'd say that a set of rechargable batteries will last about a month (but cheaper cos you can recharge them! 🙂)

Confused
