Quick question for the Unix professionals

I'm trying to understand what kind of servers are in my company's Texas datacenter. There is a Sun E6800/24 and a HP 9000/800/48. What I'm confused about is the numeric description, what does the /24 indicate? Is that the number of CPUs in the machine? Same for the HP, what does the /800/48 indicate?

2) WTF does this topic have to do with Unix? Isn't this a hardware question?

A Unix admin might be familiar with those type of servers
