Ok, I finally decided to try this game out and I can't figure something out. I am on a round where I'm surrounded by water. Across the water is a land mass with earth and gold. I can get my imps to mine the gold and the earth, but I can't get them to "claim" the land so creatures can be placed there and rooms can be built. I tried possessing and stuff but the imps still wouldn't do it. Does anyone know how I can gain control of the land?

Hmm, trying to think which level you're on...

Yes, you will need a bridge, but if it's the level i think it is (Somewhere near the final battle?), you won't get bridge building for a while. Just keeping beating up on creatures until you get a particular set killed off, then you'll get bridge building and be able to move other creatures over there. (Of course, it might be too late at that point...)

There is another, earlier level where you don't get bridge building, but there is a single land link to the center. However, you have to claim that land link and beat down a door rather early, or you lose the ability to get there at all. (They reinforce the walls and stop you in your tracks.)

Husband has been hogging the DK CDs lately - I think I'll go snitch it out of his machine and load it on MKAGM tonight... :)
