Quick question for airsoft guys.

I want a springer. KWC P99 or Y&P P99? I'd like to grab one of these for max around $30 w/ shipping. I hear a lot of good stuff about the KWC... I want a hopup and heavyweight version, and I'm not a collector so super-accurate reproduction isn't terribly important to me.
 
Which brings me to my next point, where are some good places online to buy guns?

Aside from just searching google, I mean has anyone bought off places online?

Um, no. I'm just plinking here, and besides, gas guns + gas = $$$.
BTW, can I only use .2 gram airsoft BBs with this hopup system?
 
So what is the point of having an air soft gun? Does it hurt to get shot with it? Does it leave a mark so that you know you've been shot?
 
You can use BB with paint in them or you have to use a truth system...if you get hit you hold your rifle above your head and leave the field...or if they are real close, you can surrender.
 
Airsoft = Paintball with little kids and war freaks who are too cheap to go anywhere, and don't want to move more than 10 feet in a minute. That is all.

I'm tired of paintball retards like you. They're both good. Settle it at that. I used to play paintball, I hated it.
 
I have a Airsoft and Paintball and i got to say paintball is better. airsoft isnt powertful ernough for happyDude. all i do with mine is shoot cans and stuff with mine

Obviously you're playing with springers or weak electrics.
Get a good GBB with red gas powering it, and it's going to leave a major welt. Or an AEG.

Mind you, my friend's modded paintball rifle leaves a welt - it rips out balls at ~500 fps. Yes, it occasionally jams. But it's worth it. 😀

I have KWC M92FS with Red Gas. ~400 FPS. Its fun but it doesnt compare with paintball. And Reliading and regassing all the time is a bitch.

That's one of the reasons I dislike paintball, you get hit with something that has 10 footpounds of force behind it, for me that hurts a lot. If my calculations are correct, even a relatively large 2 joule hit is only like 1.5 foot pounds.

Regassing, yes, it's a bitch.
Reloading is part of the game. Get good with your drop-flip-reload and it won't be so hard anymore. A friend and I had "quick draw" matches where we both started with an empty clip in the gun and a full clip on our belts. Two seconds, tops.

After 2 months and a wrong gun, I finally received it

I have a few questions. Will dry-firing hurt this thing? Can I re-use the pellets as long as they're not too dirty/not visibly dirty? Can I use those POS Daisy BBs that they sell at walmart for plinking? Thanks. Now if I can just find extra mags 😛

Want to stand in front of my AUG and take a few hits? Systema Super Torque-up motor, torque-up gearset & M120 spring...should be about 400fps. Goes clean through the bottom of a soda can from a few inches. Tightbore barrel & 400fps = accuracy..probably a little more accurate than the average paintball gun.

I wouldn't recommend reusing BBs -- they can have small nicks/dings on them which might damage your hopup. You can use the Daisy BBs, but they're only .12g..they might curve upward, and probably won't be as accurate as higher quality ammo.
