quick question, easy way to mirror ipad screen to hdtv?

pretty straight forward but I don't know ios. Do I need any hardware? It's a friends ipad 3 I believe.

Basically he wants netflix, email, safari etc to display on his lcd acros the room wirelessly.

If you can get an Apple TV 2 those things are great when jailbroke. I have XBMC on mine and it opens up a whole new world of opportunities

it's the easiest with a stock apple tv. Literally 5 minutes of setup - add in wifi info, add in apple home sharing info, done.

Got problems? Send his ass to the apple store.
