Quick Question .. Does Fat32 be over 32Gb.. I got a 40Gb hdd to format..

In 2000 and XP you can only format partitions up to 32GB with Fat32. Anything larger than 32GB has to be formatted with NTFS unless you use a 98/ME machine or boot disk.
 
stick with NTFS. FAT32 is old hat and really not that good a file system. NTFS is where it is at.
