QUICK QUESTION: DO I need to install RAID drivers each TIME i fresh install?

Is it possible to make the motherboard think the SATA drive is IDE so I don't need RAID?

What OS are you installing? If XP with SP2,you wont need too install the sata drivers.

Just go ahead and let it finish formatting, then start the process over with the raid drivers. They aren't really needed until the OS is actually being installed.

Since you're just starting the install I would redo it and define mass storage.
