Is it possible to have a dual monitor setup by only using one VGA port? Not DVI, but VGA. Or do you need a video card that has 2 interfaces on it?

If it is possible, what kind of an adapter do you need? If it isn't possible, I have an nVidia quadro fx sitting around that I could throw into the computer that would probably work.

It's horribly expensive.
Matrox DualHead2Go offers what you want, but it costs a lot more than even a basic PCI/PCIe card would that has 2 outputs.
The Quadro is a much better idea.

(Cheapest DualHead2Go on Froogle is almost $140)

I noticed that the Optiplex has it's motherboard on the opposite side of the case as a normal motherboard would be. Instead of facing to the left, it's facing right.. does that make sense? So.. basically, it would look like any standard PCI card I put in there would be upside down.. does this matter or do I need to special order one from Dell?
