Just curious does what the case is made out of, really effect the tempratures inside the case, or so long as the case has a good aim flow and fan setup does it not matter?

By this i mean, are steel/ aluminium cases naturally cooler than plaster/ acrylic cases?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. Also, would 2 80mm exhausts, and 1 * 120mm intake be good enough air flow for a gaming system?

Im not sure on base temp for each kind of case... i cant imagine there is a huge differance.

That should be enough if you ask me... I have..

2 80mm intake fans in the front
1 80mm exhaust in the back
1 120mm exhaust on the top

Its plenty.....although, i still like the idea of water cooling o_O

Back when aluminum cases were new, the marketing folks all said it would cool better. It's been shown with time that the aluminum really doesn't help, it's the airflow that does it all. There are plenty of people with those clear plexi cases, and even wood cases. They do fine.

Yes. I think so. Depends on what type of temps you are comfortable with, but overall it should keep the temps within spec for your hardware.
