Quick Question about Card Readers

I just got a multiple (one of those x in 1's) card reader. I was just curious, I all of a sudden have 5 new removable drives when I click on My Computer. Is that normal for most card readers? I would have thought that it would just be 1 removable drive with 5 folders inside of it or something like that.
 
It is normal, it will show ususally how ever many slots there is on the reader, it if you have an 8-in-1 and there are 5 slots, there is usually 5 drive letters
 
Its normal but the weird part of my card reader is that i remove it and my icon cd drives look like the card reader icons weird aint it
