Hello, I have a Thermaltake Tsunami case with top mounted USB/Firewire ports. I was wondering if it was OK to run those wires from the top of my case, behind my motherboard (not mobo tray, but actually mobo, and then back out at the bottom of the case (because the USB plugs are at the bottom of the mobo.

should be fine

K, you sure? It's not that I don't believe you, it's just that I don't want something to go wrong as a result.

there was someone with a nice water cooled rig that took all his wires and ran them behind the mobo... looked real nice and clean...

as long as they reach you should be ok.

I just got my TT Tsunami today. It's a nice case. So many people said it was junk. I just removed the cable for the top mounted USB/Audio ports. I'm fine using the ones in the back if I had to. This is just a game machine for me so USB in front/top isn't needed.

I guess they could get cut, but will be 100% safe if you to tape them down 1 by 1 and tighten them to make them flat so they sit below your mobo stand-offs.

You are not annoying at all lol. No it wont bother the mobo, but just tape them down flat like then you wont have ta worry about it. 😉

Oh yea 1 more tihng, MAKE SURE you leave enough room at the bottem to attach your external usb port wires and your external audio jack wires if you are usin! 🙂
