Quick question about bandwidth from your HSI

I ran speakeasy's speedtest and for some reason, my Comcast 6mbps is registering 25mbps download (same 360-375kbps upload as normal). Is this common - or is it just a "burp" in the bandwidth for today?

Just wondering if any other people with HSI experience such a huge boost. Or maybe Speedtest is wrong today?

Ive run it about 20 times over the past 4 hrs.

Same results. Which is why I am confused. I don't know of any service local to here that offers anything better than 8mbps service. So this 25mbps is pretty odd.

The only real test would be to dl something that is 100MB or so from somebody with 25mbps upload which I have never heard of before.

I tried some other bandwidth tests that I googled with similar results. spanning from 14mbps to 26mbps.

Comcast now has enormous burst speeds. That's what you're seeing on the tests.
