quick question, 2 x 256 or 512?

Hi there, would i be better off using 2 x 256 sticks of pc3200 or one stick of Geil 512 pc3200? The Geil has a blue heatspreader on it so i guess i could overclock it... I want to put it in instead of the 2 x sticks but i was curious on what your computer gurus think. Btw, i am not sure of the brand on the two sticks. I got them when i ordered my computer from ibuypower.com so i dont know how i can tell what they are.
 
this means you already have the 2x256,.. just stick with it. if it's stable, dont worry about it. the difference between heatspreaders or no on ram is negligable. some say it doesnt even exist. so dont bother there.
 
Alright thanks, yeah the pc is fairly new, got it in october i think. I just thought the ram looked cool cuz it is blue haha! thanks for quick freakin responses dang
